Structured Gym

As part of the Triple Play Initiative of the Boys and Girls Club of America, we offer a wide variety of athletic activities for all members in our gymnasium from 3:00 to 5:00pm after school every day. Some of the activities fall under the umbrella of our athletic leagues, while others are open to all members at all time! Among the activities our members regularly enjoy in the gym include: flag football, kickball, dodgeball, ultimate frisbee, gladiator hockey, soccer, capture the flag, and team handball. Tournaments and other events are also periodically scheduled.

Creative Arts

We offer activities that everyone will enjoy. Drawing, painting, and sewing are just a few of the activities that members will be encouraged to try. Special projects are planned throughout the year.

Games Room

Members are encouraged to participate in daily contests and challenges, while creating new friends and social relationships.  Club tournaments are offered throughout the year, with winners in each division receiving an award at our annual Awards Night.

Power Hour

We offer daily homework help and tutoring from 3:00 to 5:00 pm.  This enables Club members to develop the daily habit of completing homework and preparing for class in a safe, quiet, allocated space with staff and volunteer encouragement and assistance.

Smart Moves

Smart Moves is a program to help members in 4th to 8th grade identify and resist peer, social, and media pressures that promote high risk behavior. We do this by providing the information and resistance skills needed to say "NO" to alcohol, drugs, and sexual involvement.

Triple Play

Triple Play is a healthy initiative to make members better informed of healthy choices.  Members are encouraged to participate in various healthy activities and healthy choices, ranging from engaging in daily exercise to making healthy dietary choices. The program's goal is for youth to achieve a healthy mind, body, and soul.
